Eugene D. Mahaney, MD

Dr. Mahaney completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He earned a Doctor of Medicine in 1993 at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and completed his Internal Medicine internship at Albany Medical Center. After moving to Boston, Dr. Mahaney completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. In 1999, Dr. Mahaney came to Fort Myers and became the medical director of the Pain Management Clinics for Lee Memorial Health System.

He is Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology, certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and is a member of a number of professional organizations.
